Tweed Striders hosts two main events a year plus some smaller social and informal events:
The Curfew Run
Since the reign of William the Conqueror, Berwick’s town bell has rung daily at 8pm.
The Curfew Run races around the town walls whilst the curfew bell rings for thirteen minutes. Can you beat the curfew bell?
There are two runs. The Curfew Fun Run for children 12 and under + families, and the Traditional Curfew Run for 13 years plus and adults.
See opposite for details.
The Spittal Beach Cross Country
As part of the Borders Cross country Series, Tweed Striders hosts one of the 8 races in the series.
The junior race is 2k on the beach.
The senior race starts on the beach then along the coastal path returning to the beach for the finish. Spittal Course route
